Prayer Chain Ministry If you would like to become a member of our prayer warriors team or if you have a prayer concern that you would like to have lifted in prayer, please contact the church office 757-865-7800 or send an email to Prayer Chain. American Sign Language Ministry Emmanuel offers interpreted Worship services and ministry programs for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing upon request.  To assure these programs are interpreted and meet your communication needs, we ask for advance notification to ensure the availability of an interpreter.  Programs can be interpreted in ASL, Transliteration or Signed English.  You may contact Mark Terry by email.  Praise Band Ministry meets weekly and is under the direction of our our seasoned Music Director Diane Bahr.  The praise band can always use new members.  We currently have keyboards, drums, guitars, bass guitar and vocalist and looking for more.  The Praise Band leads our 8:30 pm Praise Style worship service every Sunday Morning.  If you feel lead to serve in this way, please contact us. Bell Choir Ministry meets every Wednesday at 5:30 pm in our sanctuary.  Don't know music or how to play the Bells?  Don't worry, our seasoned Music Director Diane Bahr can mold you into a first rate ringer.  All experience levels are welcome.  The Bell choir plays at all of our special holiday programs and is often featured during regular worship services.  If you have any interest in music, please feel free to contact our Synodically trained music director Diane Bahr. Adult Choir Ministry meets ever Wednesday at 7:00 PM in our sanctuary.  Can't sing?  Sure you can.  Music Director Diane Bahr will take your voice and tune it to perfection.  If you have any interest in music, please feel free to contact our Synodically trained music director Diane Bahr. Lutheran Youth Fellowship of Emmanuel or LYFE is a forum for young people to express their faith, through fellowship, education, mission work, and service.  Our youth ministry is very active and meets quite regularly.  We have two programs available at Emmanuel.   The first group is for our Junior High students in grades 6 - 8.  And, second we have our Senior High youth in grades 9 - 12.  Each group has the opportunity to participate in youth retreats, Lock-Ins, Youth Congress, fellowship with other LCMS churches in our area, provide outreach to the various service and support agencies, community service projects and sometimes we get together just for fun.  Drop me a line to find out more about our Youth Ministry. Audio Visual and Computer Ministry: Are you a computer geek or a Sound system jockey?  Our Tech team ministry is where you need to be.   This ministry team maintains all the Worship Service sound and projection system equipment.  In addition, we maintain all ADPE (Automated Data Processing Equipment).  We are blessed with PC’s, LAN, Web Hosting Service and computer lab that supports our Church ministries.  Please contact Mike Evans for more information about this important ministry. Fellowship Ministry Do you throw a good party?  Or are you the consummate Host?  Our ministry team serves Emmanuel's fellowship needs.  We provide for the Sunday morning fellowships, coordinate social activate, and assist or provide for member needs during special occasions such as Weddings, Funerals, Confirmations, and Baptism).  You may contact the church office  if you have a desire to serve in this ministry. Building and Grounds Ministry do you have a green thumb or are you a handy man at heart?  Our new church plant is entering its 8thyear.  And, we have need of your service to keep our facility looking like new.  Join our team if you enjoy landscaping, minor maintenance and repair work and participating in building projects.  Contact the church office.
